Practice

How should I practice?

Please focus on the following while you are practicing:

  1. Intonation (Are your fingers on target?)
  2. Bowings (Are you doing all your slurs and the marked bowings? Are you holding and moving the bow correctly?)
  3. Rhythm (Are you giving all the notes and rests the correct values/counts?)
  4. Dynamics (Are you playing loud/soft/crescendos/diminuendos correctly?)
  5. First practice only  the measures you do not understand, then practice the entire song.
